Pedro Trengrouse
Pedro Trengrouse is a lawyer, Senior Partner at Trengrouse.Gonçalves Advogados, who is a go-to specialist for investment and corporate affairs in sports and whose career has focused on advising private and public sector in key policies and initiatives related to new technologies and innovative approaches to Sport as a tool for human, social and economic development. He is the Academic Coordinator of the FGV/FIFA/CIES Programme on Sports Management, Professor of Sports Law at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), the most prestigious think-tank in Latin America and Visiting Scholar at Harvard Law School, tethered directly to Professor Charles Nesson, Weld Professor of Law, Faculty Co-Director, Berkman Center for Internet and Society (Fall 2014). He served the United Nations as UNDP Consultant on matters related to the FIFA World Cup 2014 and Sport Legislation. Also acted as trusted advisors to institurions and corporations. He is a FIFA Master laureate and holds a certificate on Casino Regulations from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. The FIFA Corporate Social Responsibility department and the FIFA Foundation were created in line with the recommendations made in his FIFA Master thesis, published by SDA Bocconi and regarded as a reference to the field by the United Nations Office on Sport for Development and Peace.
